can anyone give me an idea of what the weather is like in dec. we have twins going who are under 3 and we'll be there the ist week of dec. dont know what to pack??

We are going the week after you... we have had several responses to this inquiry and the responses range from shorts and tshirts, maybe light jacket in the am with a sweatshirt in the evening; to be prepared with a winter coat and gloves...

I'm thinking of outfits that I can layer and fleece sweatshirts, but probably bring a coat just in case - better to be prepared than sorry and paying WDW prices for a coat.

We are also going that week and were told to pack a little of everything. The mornings can be cold but warm up by afternoon. Temperatures can range between 60 and 80 degrees.

Now, I haven't actually been there during this time before, but when I asked this question that's what others have told me.

See ya there

I plan on packing clothes I can layer. A few years ago we were at WDW in January. The first 3 days were very nice - in the 80's, and then a cold front hit and almost the rest of our stay was in the low 40's...brrr. We did not pack warm enough clothes so we ended up spending money on an overpriced coat at the theme park for ds and then dh and I found some less expensive fleece pullovers to wear at a tourist shop off property (thank goodness we had a rental car that trip!). Another trip we were there in December and the weather was unseasonably cold and wet. So I have learned to be prepared for just about anything during this time of year, no matter what Accuweather says before we go, lol.

We go to WDW the first week of every December. Although it varies from year to year, it isusually in the mid to high 80's by afternoon. It's not uncommon to start the day off in a sweatshirt or long sleeved shirt and then resort back to the same at night. We ususally take a pair of jeans for each of us, capris as well as shorts. There's usually not a need for tank tops - tees should do. So, to answer your question...pack a little of everything!

We went this past Dec 10-17. A couple of days it was 75-80 and the kids went swimming in a heated outdoor pool. Then some days it rained, chilly, and the nights very chilly....bring sweat shirts, jeans, jacket hats and mittens for the little ones. if you have a stroller bring a little blanket, the blanket not only for a little one in stroller, but when you sit on those steel benches, your butt will freeze at night time. also, shorts for those hopeful warm days...

we are going in november 9th- 12th what is the weather like during this time, we are from nw kansas and have very extrem temps here. Summer ranges from mid 80's to 109 very dry heat.(We went last August16th and about died with the humidity didnt know what that wasLOL) Winters are cold 40 to -10 below ZERO. SO when it is cold like 35 for several days and there is snow then it jumps up to 45 i can go out side w/out coad and in shorts. SO i guess my question is would shorts and hoodie be okay for adults, and capris and jeans okay for kids? Please help. :yay:

We went last year Dec 14-20th. I packed bathing suits to winter coats, and everything in between! The first couple of days it was was warm in the low 80s, but after that it was in the high 60s to 70. We wore capris or pants everday. I was glad I brought cardiagan seaters! I wore one ever day. So If it got cooler I just threw it on. At night it was cool, but not cold. We brought hats and gloves and winter coats but never need them. Just sweaters at night were perfect. My kids dressed up at night, my daughter in her princess or Minnie attire, and for my son who was 16 months at the time, Dumbo and Mickey. They were perfect for the cool nights, and I was so glad I brought them. I would just put them over his clothes and he was nice and warm. He got soooooo much attention! At LeCelliars our waiter even came out and took a picture of him! Have a great time- I jeleous :)
