weather in CT today (thurs) - nicer than anticipated?

Home on my lunch break. Thought today was going to be a miserably rainy day. Its much cooler than it has been. The sun is shining and its actually a nice day!
So whats your thoughts on tomorrow being a beach day?
Any hope for the wknd?

coworker and I were going to play hooky and take her 3 year old to Lake Compounce! Guess we are going to go tomorrow though...although today would have been PERFECT! Watch it POUR tomorrow or something.


Yeah...ever forecaster ( :cough: JUSTIN KIEFER :cough: ) royally bunked up todays forecast.

ah well...just means I have a three day weekend now! hehehe

This is the type of day that reminds me why I LOVE New England. It is wonderful. A few days of hot humid summer weather and now a few days beautiful clear crisp cool weather. I believe it is suppose to be like this for the weekend. YES! And I am off tomorrow. What more could I ask for? Jay

yep! But as Kimberle said - I'd prefer this day in SEPTEMBER rather then AUGUST! heheeh

I was just thinking last night how I can't wait for the leaves to start changing.

I just got back from the town pool with my kids- we were the only ones there for a while, and it was beautiful

I was thinking the same thing this afternoon. I actually prefer the nice toasty weather because my boss insists on keeping the air on high until I'm frozen. My office = the tundra no matter how hot it is outside. (Or cold, for that matter - she won't turn up heat until one of our clients turns blue either.)

Anyhoo, it did feel like September - I felt like it was a soccer game day, or maybe the kind of day we go to the Big E. To see Clay Aiken. *sigh* (It seems any conversation can go full circle back to Clay!! )



Don't ever trust a weatherman. One of the News 30 guys was in my bio class in high school. I especially like to yell at HIM when he gets things wrong.
