Hi

Thinking of going beginning November

Would you recommend this time

What is weather like (I am from the uk so used cold weather lol)

Is it warm enough shorts/tshirts (we go orlando in dec to compare)

What about rain?

Busy?

When does halloween finish and Xmas start

Thank you so much x

November is a nice time to go to the parks. Halloween decorations are down by the first week of November, and Christmas decorations start going up (actually, some decorations before end of Halloween). They are usually all up by 2nd week of November. Haunted Mansion & It's a Small World will have Christmas overlay at that time, and Jungle Cruise. The beginning of November can be quite warm with cool evenings, but it's really too early to plan. You'll need to check the weather forecast a week ahead of time. It's rare to rain in November, but you never know. The end of November is usually cooler, but typically t-shirt weather during the day, with sweatshirts/long sleeves in early morning, and as the sun goes down in the evening.

We have a big holiday celebration the 4th Thursday - Thanksgiving, and you can expect that week and weekend to be extremely busy. Weekends leading up to the holidays are quite busy, and weekdays are moderately busy, with busier evenings as the locals visit after work.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply

I have 30 oct or 6 nov for five nights

So would you go for 30 October

Or am I stupid thinking of either date

Thank you again

We were in the parks the week of Nov. 5th last year and it was very nice. Temps were very mild and we wore long pants and a hoody much of the time but it was never "cold". It rained one evening and we ended up leaving a bit early for the day.
I'm sure someone will take exception to this but DL isn't well equipped for rain. It's hard to get out of the weather especially if your trying to go from ride to ride. They even folded all the umbrella's up at Jolly Holiday bakery and zip-tied them o people couldn't take shelter there. (I contacted DL management about this and they were stumped as to why this happened..)
So I would consult the forecast and if there's call for rain, just bring your own poncho - or buy an overpriced one at the park.
Rain is so rare that I would not cancel a trip because of a small threat of it.

This is the time of year we usually travel to the parks. We enjoy it. I don't know fl weather for comparison. But I usually need a jacket sometimes thin gloves at night in October/November. Every year is different though. :)

Personally, I would pick the 6 November beginning date. The only issue you might run in to is the taping of the Christmas show (whether it's the parade or something else), but that is on the weekend, and only affects Main Street for those two days.
