OK, I will enjoy myself on our trip no matter what the weather is but...

...I've checked just about every major on-line weather site (weather.com, accuweather, quikcast, etc., etc.) and none of them are predicting the same thing - from temperature to precipitation to even whether it will be cloudy or sunny!

I guess it's just a crap shoot - here's hoping for some sun :sunny:

Good luck getting an accurate forecast. We checked the weather for Orlando the day we left (Nov. 16), and temps were supposed to be in the upper 70's all week. Instead, we got upper 50's and 60's! Now, being from MA, I really don't mind cool weather. It was warmer there than at home. But, if I had known in advance I would have packed more than 1 pair of jeans & 1 sweatshirt. I wore shorts once the whole week. Luckily we had a washer/dryer in our villa.

We will be there with you (Dec. 1-7). We have been watching the forecasts, as well. I guess I'll pack at the last minute and hope for the best!

I will be there the 7,8,9. I'm not packing until the 5th or 6th. I hope to go swimming at least once and get to wear capris. :sunny:

i know-i keep checking the forecast also for hte first week of dec and one time it tells you low 80's tehn you check back later and its low 70's?? really hard to pack...we're in jersey and the day we leave it will be in the 30's so i really dont know what to pack? :confused3

I'm leaving Thursday for WDW and when I was packing this weekend the Forecast was for low 70's upper 60's for the High and 40's for Lows, well I checked today and this what I see I had to come home and repack.

Since you're going to be here a week, I'd say the chances of the sun shining at least a portion of the time are pretty good. I'd pack for all types of weather. Even if it is cool a few days, it'll still be warm the other days. It was in the 60s last week and this week it's going to be close to 80.

Pack for temps anywhere from 40 to 70 degrees and bring a poncho.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with this problem. I packed(for my whole family) a couple of pairs of pants but mostly t-shirts and shorts. Now I'm wondering if I should repack everyones or not. I'm not sure about bringing my winter coat or not too. I don't think I'll decide that until I'm at the airport.

Well, I think the concensus is right - pack for all types of weather. Layers, layers, layers.

I'm always cold and my DH is always hot but I just hate when either of my young boys are cold - I think I'll pack their fleece-lined jeans just in case! I'd rather have them and not use them then be kicking myself once I'm down there!

Thanks everyone and I hope all of you who are headed to WDW have a great time as well  !

We'll be there 12/2 to 12/9 too! I think I'm going to pack a little bit of everything and probably be prepared to do laundry while I'm there. I figure even if it is 70/80s during the day, the nights will be a lot cooler.

We have been watching the weather also, as we will be there Dec.5-12. We are packing all kinds of clothing, jeans, t-shirts, long sleeved shirts, jackets, hats, gloves, etc. I bet though it will be a lot warmer there than it is here in SD. Either way like the OP said, we will still have fun to matter what! :goodvibes

Sending pixie dust your way for a great trip! pixiedust:

We are headed to WDW from the 4-14th and I am having the same problem. I already am an overpacker and now I have to pack for all types of weather....ugh!! Oh well I just can't wait to get there and just hope I get to take Emma swimming at least once as she loves the water!!

I will be there from Dec 3-10 and have been checkign too and wondering what to pack. For my daughter I have packed a lot and overpacked forsure . I need to pack for me and my hubbie( he already told me he is wearing shorts no matter what the weather is , so easy) . Me on the other hand I am always cold so I am probably going to overpack for me too bringing a bit of everything with me.
hopefully we have some great sunshine

Sadly, weather forecasting (especially long range) is hardly an exact science.
Hoping your actual weather is sunny and nice!!

we are watching the weather for the first 2 weeks in Dec also, its a rollercoaster right now, so packing is difficult. Jackets, sweatshirts, jeans, for the evening, and shorts for the daytime hours. I also hear a cold front is on the way for the first week in Dec. We'll have to make a few phone calls before we leave to check out what is going on for last minute weather changes.

We started packing last night for our 12/1 to 12/9 trip -- DH and I decided that for each of us (plus DS, 8) that we'll think about what we personally would like to add to our wardrobes (for example, DS could use a new sweatshirt or two and I could use some new tee-shirts) and we'll pack light on that category. So, I'm just bringing a coupla tee-shirts for myself and if I "have" to buy more when I'm there, I'll be delighted -- ditto for the boy and his sweatshirts. It's only a pain, IMHO, to really have to buy something you need on your trip when you have plenty of said item back at home in the closet (oh gosh, why the heck didn't I bring an extra long sleeved shirt when I have so many, etc. etc.). Still, it is a tricky business to pack for this time of year (esp. when you're trying not to over-pack)....

I am going the following week. I have been packing mostly s/s shirts and pants with some pullovers/hoodies. I have a few pairs of shorts and capris packed also in case it gets warm.
