We are going to WDW for the 1st time on 2nd July,I am getting excited, and reading all the reviews and tips so that we can make the most of this holiday of a lifetome.
As a Brit we are not used to hot weather (although I must say we have had it into the 80's the last couple of weeks), so I have been looking at the weather forecast.
They all habe big dark cloud and thunderstorms forecast.
Does this mean it will rain all dau ao just the occasional shower?
I know this question sounds dorky, but over here the symbol highlights the majority of whats to happen.
I am hoping that this is not the case in the US.

Looking forward to hearing some cheering feedback
Regards

During this time of year it seems like everyday's forecast for Orlando has that thunder and lightning cloud! Most likely it will only be a shower in the later afternoon. That is usually the way the weather is there during that part of the summer - VERY hot and humid and rains every afternoon for a short time. Sometimes A LOT of rain but it usually doesn't last all day or night!

Hope that helps- Have a fun trip!:earsgirl:

Thanks for that. I was starting to get a bit worried, all this glorious weather we will be leaving behind:cool:
Will you be there on the 2nd July aswell??  :smooth:

We will actually be there June 25 - July 1st. Leaving one day before you get there.

Hope we BOTH have good weather!

Good Question. The symbol usually means there is a possibility that it will occur not even definit. I run a seasonal businees(summer) that depends on good weather so I pay close attention to what the weather station forcasts and most of the time they are wrong.

While I have never been to WDW I have been to Florida. We stayed a week in Jacksonville years ago and one of the few things I remember is being on the beach and seeing the daily thunderstorm coming in from the ocean. It lasted about 30 minutes and then the sun came out. I expect it to be like that while I'm at WDW.

One thing I do remember because I experience it here in Dallas, after the rain it is very humid!
