I am starting to plan a family trip to WDW next year. My #1 questions is what is the best month for our trip? We live in Texas so we know HOT!! We want to when when it is short/capri weather but not sweltering. We also don't want to go when we really have to bundle up. Any suggestions????

Been there numerous times and found end of January, first week of Feb might fit that weather.

Although during that time frame, one year we had to buy fleece jackets because it was so cold, and another year during that same week we were swimming and laying in the sun.

The weather in May is wonderful! Highs in the 80's, lows in the 60's. Great time to visit!

We live in Tx, too!

Back in 2002 we went the second week of March for Spring Break. The weather wasn't bad at all. The first day there my niece and sister even more jeans. (I'm not saying it was cool, however. Just not sweltering). Our second day, while at MGM, it was hot from the get-go. So hot that my sister had to buy a shorts outfit for her daughter while waiting for the rides to open. I remember that one day being the hottest. For the most part it was pretty nice. It was nothing like summer, although I imagine some days are hotter than others. Just the luck of the draw.

This year we arrive on October 17th. Hopefully the weather will be nice then, too.

Its hot /humid here till around nov. In november it gets slow before thanksgiving plus it is cooler here. From June till nov is Hurricane season. In may and sept are love bug season ( they dont bite just a pain to deal with ) I think the best time we have gone so far was in jan.. cool comfy just bring a sweatshirt and you could walk right on the rides YEAH .. the only drawback is the parks might close earier suring slow season but you can see things much faster.dont forget to get insurance if you come during Hurricane season.. Suppose to be an active season this year again like 2004 :(
if you need more help feel free to message me :)

Our favorite month to go is October. We found warm, swimmable, temperatures during the day and comfortable weather in the evenings. We had very low humidity during this time. Crowds were not terrible although Epcot gets awfully busy with the F&W traffic. Still, it's my favorite time to go.
