Weather for Thanksgiving week at BWV?

Hi everyone, we'll be at the BWV's for Thanksgiving week starting the Saturday before. Has anyone been down there that could give me an idea on the average temperature that time of year? Is it still shorts weather? I know the pools are all heated year round, but is it warm enough for swimming as far as once you get out of the pool wet (more for my son who will be two by that point). Thanks for any insight!

We have been there the last 2 years at Thanksgiving. Last year it was cold, temps over night in the 30s, day time highs in low 70s. The year before it was high 80s, so it hit or miss. Hey we will be at BCV at Thanksgiving BillPa. It has always been our trandition to go every thanksgiving to WDW. Its nice because its not really really busy. The temperature is usally nice, not to cold or not to hot. Always have had few good days at least for swimming. Maybe we can all plan a dis meet at BCV? Any kids you guys? It will be me(14) sister(5) and parents. I am so looking forward our first trip home as DVC members. We joined in march during our cruise and got special incentive for joining onboard.

Hey Matt,
Sorry, no kids will be with us. We have 3 but our youngest is 21 and will not have time off for school and the boys, 23 and 26 are 'Disneyed' out after going almost every year since they each turned 2. Where in Orange County are you? My sister lives in Garden Grove and I have a brother in Long Beach. Hope we will run into you and your family. But if not, have a great trip.

Every year for the last five years and it is hit or miss. Mostly very pleasant during day in shorts, then sweatshirt at night. We have had a few COLD nights over the years but they are rare. Mostly 70's during day and low 50's at night. Plenty of sunshine too!! Makes it feel warmer. Enjoy!

We'll be at OKW with my parents and the kids (9 and 5). I am very excited. I live in Indiana and my parents live in PA, and as we do a week together at Xmas we NEVER get to celebrate Thanksgiving together. I am always kind of depressed on Turkey Day -- NOT THIS YEAR!

We check in saturday also at BCV. My sister 5 is same age as yours. Maybe we could get together one day. My grandparents in tampa are driving over for one night for thanksgiving.

We'll be at BCV starting the Saturday before as well. I'll have a daughter who will be almost 7 and a son 9 1/2

Be prepared for anything. We've gone the first week of December and had temps in the 80's and temps in the 60's. A few years ago we went the week of Thanksgiving and the first day was about 80 and we were able to swim. The rest of the week it was in the 60's everyday. One day it only reached into the 50's and we found ourselves wearing light gloves and jackets with sweatshirts in the evening. We had only brought a couple of sweatshirts and had to buy a couple more for the week.

We've gone twice during that timeframe in the past and I usually bring huge suitcases filled with clothes for all kinds of weather! That being said we've always have had great luck during that time and have very nice weather. We've always swam during that time and worn shorts in the daytime and sometimes we needed a jacket or pants for evenings.

Our little one (who is three today!) was swimming away two years ago during that week at the WL and loving it. It was very sunny and warm that year the whole week. I hope you have great weather too!

Thanks everyone, I can't wait to get there! We are waitlisted for that Wednesday and I'm going to try to get somewhere for Thanksgiving on cash if I can!
