Weather for next week

Being from the Pacific NW, next week at Disney daytime seems almost early summer like. Wondering if light jacket is needed for daytime or if it gets to warm for Pacific NW people.

You'll definitely want at least a light jacket or hoodie. The "high" takes a while to arrive - usually not until noon or later, and then it will get cool quickly once the sun goes down. You'll want to dress in layers to avoid having to go back to hotel several times to change.

ETA: I don't understand what's happening! This is my third post today in which my reply has been posted ABOVE the post I was responding to!!!

We were just there last week and the weather was wonderful. It is a little cooler in the mornings, but we were in shorts and t-shirts most of the day until the evening (except on Thursday when the wind started). We are from around Sacramento though and it gets quite warm here -- down there it was more like a nice late spring/early summer day for us. Might be just right for you being from the Pacific NW.

Anxiously waiting to hear about weather too!

We usually go in February and do jeans and a short sleeve t-shirt and a jacket or sweater later in the evening... only a few times had rain and used rain jackets (also beign from the Pacific Northwest rain doesn't scare us!)

But last year we went in December and it was 80! I was miserable because we just didn't plan for such summier weather. I also was hoping for a cooler more "christmasy" feeling...

I am thinking about a mix of shorts, capris, with sweaters and sweatshirts.

We are from the PNW, too, and spent 4 days at the parks last week. They key for us was layering. You really need a sweatshirt/light coat in the early mornings and at night. Have a great trip.

We just got home today after spending the last 4 days there. The mornings seemed to be warmer - t-shirt weather - while early evening required sweatshirts and then another layer in the nighttime for us. (However, we tend to run cold and do not like to be cold at all...) Yesterday (Saturday) was the coldest out of our days there.

The best way to predict the weather is to go to www.weather.com or any other weather website, and click on the days you will be there.

The thing with southern California weather is that it can be widely varying. We have been to disneyland in December many times, and have had all types of weather--from pouring down rain to fog to cloudy cool to sunny. Even if someone tells you what they had last week or last year at that time, the weather could be very different.

We will be there Thursday-Friday, and so far it is looking like highs of 60's, with lows of 40's--no rain! Sounds like good disneyland weather to me. Definately need a coat at night time for viewing fireworks. It is important to remember that once the sun goes down (and it goes down early in Dec), the cold starts to set in. If you are spending a good deal of time waiting in one spot for fireworks, sitting on cold concrete--then you will need a good coat to buffer that cold.

Hi there!

As of now the weather looks like it will be at the highs of 65-67 and lows around 40, and the wind is suppose to die down by Tuesday, so it should feel a bit warmer than it has been the past couple of days. During the day it’s nice and crisp, but the once the sun sets the temperature drops quickly, so I would also recommend bringing a jacket and layering your clothes. Like LisainCalifornia said, the weather here can be hot one day then cold the next, so be prepared for anything. Keep checking the weather websites for more up to date weather before you arrive.

Have fun on your trip!

Well i went to Disneyland yesterday, it gets cold in the afternoon, so a sweater is a must if you plan to stay for the parade and the show on main street :-)
