Hoping to book a trip for either feb or march next year. Have a slight preference for feb due to my dd's birthday but am wondering is it going to be freezing?! Is there much difference weather wise feb to march?
It would be mid feb v end of march.

All I can tell you is that we went this year on Feb 10th - and it was FREEZING. So cold that DD couldn't walk her feet were so cold through thermal socks, tights and boots!

We would love to go again for her birthday - but not sure we could cope with the cold again!

over the last couple of years, its definitely been warmer in March, and pretty blimmin cold in February.

It does make a huge difference. That is probably the biggest bump in weather all year, I think. February can be COLD. You will still get chilly fays in march, and chilly evenings. But id say weather is much better in march.

Are you answering for DLP?

We were very lucky with our weather in March this year, I even came back with a suntan! :thumbsup2

We were worried about our weather before we left as February was a very cold month, with lots of problems with snow.

However, the previous year, we went in February and it was warm enough to not wear a coat, but definitely not warm enough to get a suntan! :lmao:

Based on my experiences, I'd choose March over February if I wanted an early year break again. HTH

I'd definitely go for March even if this Feb was exceptionally bad weather wise, March will always be better :)

Was this Feb particularly bad? We would love to go again for DD's birthday if a flash sale came up again, but the cold we experienced this Feb has totally put us off!

This year was one of the coldest on record. It's normally + temperatures in the day time the - ones are only sometimes at night and it doesn't last for days on end.

The worst thing is the wind chill even if you have 6° it can seem like half that in the wide open spaces up there :)

DD was in pain it was so cold. We may leave it to the last minute and see what the weather is like, and hope for a flash sale! Can't really afford a trip in Feb - but if a flash sale appeared - possibly!!!

Thank you so much for all the replies, think I may be swayed for march as don't really want to risk being totally frozen!
