Weather early March?

How warm during the day and how chilly will it get at night? Anyone been there at this time?

March can bring very cold (and windy) days & nights as well as very nice, sunny, warm days & mild nights. I have seen temps go as low as in the 30-40's at night or as high as teh 70's. I live in SW Fl and an example of what I am saying is... yesterday we were in the high 70's...today we are in the 50's & they say tomorrow morning it may be in the 40's. If you are trying to figure out what to pack, take some of everything & layer... you will not need a "winter" coat, but a jacket that you can layer with a sweatshirt or sweater if need be. You can bring pants, capri's & shorts. Take short sleve shirts, but stay way from tank-tops...or any real "summer" clothing.

We went March 8, 2005 for 7 nights. During the day it was high 70's to low 80's with the evenings dipping into the mid 60 to upper 60's. We did have to run the air conditioner while we were there. We used the pools etc. The only temp problem we ran into was when it rained on the day we went to Magic Kingdom. For some reason the dampness made it feel like it was 60F! We wore sweatshirts that day. The rest of the time it was shorts! Have fun!

We were there the second week of March once. It was on the cool side and rainy the first part of the week; temps stayed in the mid-60's. Last part of the week it got up to 80.

Very iffy this time of year-- we went last year 3/5-3/12. It was chilly in the mornings and evenings... I wore capri pants and a t shirt everyday, and always tied a sweatshirt around my waist. In the evenings I usually changed into jeans. We had one day of rain-- and chilly temps, only in the mid 50's. But during the day it was nice, low-mid 70s.

BUT

In 2001 I was COLD! It was only about 60 everyday.

We've gone twice during the first week in March. During our first trip, it started out much colder than we had anticipated. I'm guessing the 50's during the day, and in the 30's at night. It did get warmer right at the end of our vacation.

The second time we went during that time, it was much better We were able to wear shorts every day. Temps were just perfect: low 80's during the day, down to the 70's in the evening, and maybe the 50's overnight.
