I would like to get an idea of what sorts of clothes to bring for our mid May trip. Mostly shorts & tshirts is what I was planning. How cold does it normally get at night? Will shorts and a sweatshirt be enough to stay warm or should we all bring jeans? What about mornings, how cool is it in the morning? Is there any fog in the morning? We live on the southern california coast and may/june we have morning fog and it doesnt burn off until after lunch, so mornings are cool - is it similar in florida?
Im assuming the pools are heated (we are staying at Beach Club Villas) so we should be ok swimming in the early eves, right?
If you've been to Disney World in May can you give me an idea of what to expect from the weather. We'll be arriving May 12.
Thank you!

Granted, it probably would have felt warm to some northerners, but we're used to 70s & 80s in May.
During our week, we found the temps hot during the late morning to afternoon hours & pleasantly warm during the evening. It only rained once the entire week we were there. I had packed jeans for us, but we never needed them. And, when we returned to St. Augustine the following weekend, it was perfect, and we were able to spend a couple of hours in the ocean before driving back to TN.
But, if she had needed me to sew a button back on one of her girls' sweaters, I could have since I had an emergency sewing kit in my bag - along w/ Shout wipes to get any stains off said sweaters & bandaids & first aid spray & bug spray & all kinds of other things we never used!
