Is there some kind of weather channel available on the TVs in the rooms? specifically at POP. and is the temperature shown in celcius next to the fahrenheit? I'm canadian and do not understand fahrenheit at all! :lmao: I will be so lost on my trip if I don't know what the temperature really is.

I'm trying to remember, on the info channel with the theme park hours and special events, there is a section that shows a basic three day weather outlook (with the Mickey shaped sun) - does that just show fahrenheit, or does it show both? I know the Weather Channel itself will only show fahrenheit, but it seems like I've seen both somewhere.

You'll only get F here in the states. I'd suggest getting yourself a little cheat sheet (you could even make it yourself) that shows the conversion from F>C.

Here's a little conversion chart for you:

50's= coat, gloves (at night), poncho if raining
60's= light jacket or windbreaker, shorts and t-shirts
70's=perfection, shorts and t's
80's=tank tops and shorts, drink lots of water
90's= take a break in the day and get to a pool, it's HOT!;)

A cheat sheet is a GREAT idea!! I'll make one of those up right now. Thanks!

I just thought with the amount of international guests, that the weather channel, or at least Disney would provide the conversion. So even if they don't, I'll have my cheat sheet.

The conversion formula is

Tc = (Tf - 32) * (5/9)

A cheat sheet will give you the best results, but for a quick in-your-head estimation, subtract 30, then divide in half.

100 F actually equals 38 C. But the quick estimate gives you 100 - 30 = 70. 70 / 2 = 35. Close enough to know what to expect.

70 F actually equals 21.1 C. Quick estimate: 70 - 30 = 40. 40 / 2 = 20.

That little trick would have come in handy when I was in Ireland this summer. Don't know why it didn't occur to me before. I taught GED prep classes and covered the formula, but then they needed the exact answer. This is certainly sufficient for wardrobe purposes!

No three day outlook with Mickey sun anymore, in fact no weather report on the info channels :( Or at least there wasn't in October.
