Weather at night in Sept.????????

I've never been in September, but we were there just 3 weeks ago and it was very hot during the day, but I found the evenings to be really pleasant. Never wore anything other than shorts and t-shirts for the whole 9 days. I would imagine September would be very similar. I would pack a light sweater just in case though!!
