Weather and how to dress

How is the weather right now. What should I be packing for the weather. I have never been in October and was wondering if anyone that has just been can post pictures of what people are wearing there this time of year! I was going to start packing.

Right now it's been kind of cool, especially in the morning and evening (50s). If the sun comes out in the afternoon then it's been in the 70s but it doesn't look like it will be that warm today. I don't live in OC so I don't know what it's like at DLR right this second but right now at my house it's cold, cloudy and drizzly. But..... that doesn't mean a heat wave couldn't come any day. If I were packing right now I would bring mostly jeans and t-shirts with a couple of sweatshirts or long sleeved shirts to layer over and maybe throw in a pair of capris or shorts - just in case. It also depends on how easily you get cold and also what kind of climate you're used to. Hope that helps a little.

It depends on when you're coming. I would ask again within 7-10 days of your trip. It's due to rain here tomorrow and Wednesday (possibly significant rain). We weren't suppose to get any rain, but the huge possible record breaking system that is going to hit Central California keeps sliding south.

Pants, short sleeve shirts and a hooded sweater or light jacket should be fine.
