Weather and flights....

Hi Guys,

As our holiday approaches (Jan 13th ) I've started looking at the weather and it seems rather good for this time of year Does anyone *know* if this is a good sign for January or is it a case of the weather can go cold just like that (clicks fingers!)???

Also, out of interest, I would like to start monitoring virgin flights departing from Manchester to see how things are running, delays etc, does anyone know the easiest way to do this????

I'm going to phone the US tonight to book our character meal, crystal palace lunch, anything I need to know, would I be best to have a second choice incase it is booked up???

The 1st time I went to disney in end of dec the temp droped form 82 on day 1 to 45 on day 2. The it never recovered much for the whole 10 days. The 2nd time at the end dec the temp was between 60 and 65 most days. But cold in morning and at night. I am going again in 2 weeks so hoping (but holding my breath) that this time it will be warmer. As for resturant not sure about back up as it should be less busy when you go. The list below are our favs. My kids are 10 and 14 now and these are the ones they wanted us to book/rebook

Did the one you said when kids where younger and they enjoyed it then (ages 3 and 8)
rebooking the ones below
St angelo inn - mexico in epcot (adult fav )- grat food and setting
Rain forest cafe - down town- both kids fav
si fi dinner - mgm- both kids
Prime time - new to us 10 year old wants to go here-sounds ok
Planet hollywood- 14 year old want to go here - not looking forward to this one!

Tried the one in the ocean part of epcot- very expensive and not really that great

We were there from the 12th Jan this year for 3 weeks and honestly the weather can change dramatically from one day to the next. A few days we had shorts and tshirts on the next it was jeans and jumpers. The evenings are usually pretty cold and you need jumpers even if its warm in the day.

The day we arrived we couldn't believe how warm it was and went out in shorts and tshirts to walmart and dinner and it wasn't cold at all

Just be prepared for both.
