Weather and crowds in January?

Tried to use the search but it is disabled.

We are looking to book a January holiday next time as we have always gone october or november.

It will probably be weeks 1 and 2 or if not weeks 2 and 3.

Any information on weather to expect and what the crowd levels are like at this time of the year please.

I think it's possible to experience just about any weather in January, from hot and sunny days (but cool nights) to frost in the morning and cold temperatures all day! I have heard reports of both extremes.

If you go for two weeks or more you'll probably have a variety of weather during your trip, so if you go prepared for anything, you won't be disappointed !
