If I had one of those new-fangled things, would I wear it for a whole week? Like in the shower and when I sleep? Or would I take it off and put it back on again?

I took it off for showering and sleeping, but it's really your call since the bands are waterproof.

I will be travelling alone, and have one wrist in a brace. I can't see myself taking a MB off and putting it on again unless it is so big that it could come off when I DON'T want it to. I also can't see leaving it on all the time, as I am really paranoid about getting caught on something. I don't ever wear anything around my neck for that reason. Maybe I am just not good with change...

I wore mine non-stop from the day before I left until I got home. It stayed on just fine. As long as its on my wrist I know where it is and I can't forget to take it with me.

Great question!!! I have been wondering about that. Don't want to have to take them off all the time!

As mentioned above, it's totally up to you. They are waterproof, so swimming with them on is not an issue; in fact, it's actually safer because you are not leaving your room key out on a chair somewhere. I put mine on just before leaving for the airport and took it off each night before bed. They go on and off easily.

My wrist kept sweating under the rubber MB, drove me NUTS. Had to keep taking it off.

I took mine off for showering and sleeping. Kept it by my camera and purse so I wouldn't forget it. The only time I took it off in the parks was when I got water under it after washing my hands. *That* drove me nuts. Other than that, I found the band to be comfortable and not too bad. I do have a funky tan line now, though. :)

Took ours off too, put with other essential items at bedtime. I did have to adjust the band a few times too loose it moved too much, too tight got sweaty but when I found the right spot it was fine. We didn't wear them in the pool even though it's ok, next trip I won't worry about it! We just had a three day trip this time so we didn't want to spend any time at guest services! Mine did pop off twice though

Just know that they don't float.

We all 4 adults wore ours from check in to departing WDW...we also got a band keeper at check in...it was a rubber strap keeper like on a watch band that had the year in it...kept the band end from snagging on anything...

I kept mine in my purse. When it was hot and gross out I found it really sticky to wear. We'll see how it goes in January. :)

Getting one of the coverbands might have helped with that. They look like cotton, but they are actually what I would call a "swimsuit" fabric (like a bikini, not trunks). They are nice and cool and wick sweat and dry quickly.

There are also tutorials online on how to make your OWN cover to the MB. :)

I wore mine for the entire 21 days of our stay in october/november

only time I had to take it off was to open the resort's gate when I didn't take my KTTW, as I have arms too short to reach the scanner even by pulling dangerously close to the curb.

it fit well, very comfy, no issue with sweat at all, despite the fact that I sweat a lot (overweight guy talking)

That sounds perfect! I am definitely going to check that out for our upcoming trips!! many thanks

It took me a while to realize it's just personal preference. Ended up treating just like my wristwatch, so off at night and in the shower, on everywhere else.
I was ok with it, but really didn't think it was better than the old way, especially when the lines got long entering the parks because of magic bands (or the people wearing them) not working quickly.

:goodvibes
