Wearing shorts *NOT* okay?

Just a word of caution: What is "acceptable" and what you are comfortable in, may be two different things. While we saw one or two people at CA Grill in shorts, the majority were pants/skirts and nice shirts. Among men, golf shirts and khakis were common. Women tended towards capris/skirts with blouses/sweaters or sundresses. Folks in shorts stuck out a little -- I don't mean that they looked at all inappropriate or bad, just different than the "norm" for that restaurant on that night.

I certainly don't think this would be the case at Coral Reef or any other restaurant in the parks.

Shorts are fine. Incidentally at Cali Grill - I made my brother's GF change out of her flip flops to regular sandals before leaving - then when we got to CG there was a guy wearing a tank top!!! :earseek:

EWWWW! Just what I want with my nice dinner -- sweaty guy in tank top! :rotfl:

I usually think of it this way, if you are IN a park, park wear is acceptable. If you are in a resort, and you have a later dinner, clean up first. Earlier diners who come in from the park are just fine in park wear, except at Vicoria & Alberts.

We've been to Cali Grill many times and we've seen lots of people wearing shorts, not just a few.
