It wasnt my first choice of times, but my wedding is at 12 noon. We wanted to do something special that night so we booked the "Sweetheart Table" at California Grill. My question is this: Should I wear my wedding dress to this dinner or another dress.

I LOVE my wedding dress, but will I look out of place?

You might want to ask if you can. If there is any wedding in the contemp that night Disney might not let you do that. On my wedding day I could not go anywhere another bride was so we would not "ruin eachothers magical days" It stinks but thats Disney

This is just a dinner for you and your husband? or with your family/friends too?

If its just you two I wouldn't wear my dress and just wear another nice dress to CA. If it's everyone then wear your dress!

And now that I saw your dress I Think you should wear it, it's not a huge dress and I find that it's comfortable.

I say just wear it. It's not like its a huge dress or anything. It's your wedding day so I say go for it. :thumbsup2

There are no rules prohibiting you from wearing your dress to dinner (the only place you can't wear it is the parks).

Disney's practice of keeping two brides apart is not a rule, it's just something they have historically tried to do, and it only occurs when Disney is actively managing multiple weddings at the same location simultaneously. Basically, if your planner isn't with you to direct you, no one is going to know or care whether there's another Disney bride in the building. :thumbsup2

That's awesome Carrie! You ladies looked amazing! I just wanted to say I also saw the pic of you stalking Lori's wedding and about fell off the couch! HILARIOUS!!

Oh dear... I must be getting a reputation as a wedding stalker - watch out, DIS brides! :rotfl2:

I think you should wear your dress. It's YOUR day!! You have thought about and planned for this day for SO long. Enjoy it! Just my two cents....:goodvibes

Another vote for wearing your dress to dinner! You're only a bride for one day, I say make the most of it lol! :bride:

I agree with wearing your wedding dress. When else will you get to enjoy wearing it? I say go for it and have a wonderful time.

If you don't feel awkward, I'd wear it!

Enjoy the sweetheart dinner. It is very nice! Make sure they know you just got married!
