I just said to my husband that morning that I hadn't witnessed one dream..not one , and we had been in Disney for 5 days. ( MK, Epcot , Blizzard Beach)And I only saw the dream team once at Epcot in the morning behind the Test track pavillion( not handing anything out though,just taking a short cut through the back ) and then .. it happened on our last day.
We were waiting in line for It's tough to be a bug ( AK ) and they pulled about 15 of us aside ( as we entered through the check point.)
They gave a big speech " It's the Year of a Million Dreams.. and your dreams are being granted right NOW!"
and they reached in the big bag and handed out the ears. My son was SOOO excited. I felt bad for the people who came in behind us. I could hear some little guy say , "mommy, where's my ears?"
I ended up giving my husbands ears away to another little guy at the end of the day... (It felt so good to pass it on..)
One good thing to add. I told my boys ( I have 3) about the Year of a million Dreams being granted and how if the cast members see you doing something nice , sometimes you will be granted a wish. I have NEVER heard so many Thank you's, you go first , after you ect. ! It was awesome. I was really proud of their behaviour.
