We Won a Trip to DISNEYLAND

We won a 5 day, 4 night 3day PH + airfare for 4 to Disneyland through a local radiostation!! They actually gave us a choice ..... Disneyland or Dollars ($1000) of course I didn't hesitate!!

We don't know the details yet (where we are staying, when we can go...hopefully they will let us choose) but one of the first things I did was jump on the DISboards to get advice and start planning.

We went to WDW in 2007 and have been dreaming of a way to get back to Disney ever since. What an amazing deal.

My son (12) is completely Lego crazy so we will be making a side trip to LegoLand. (I am hoping that we can add to the above package and extend our trip for a few days to take in some San Diego sites)

Just wanted to share with people who are as Disney crazy as I am!

Funny thing is I was planning a WDW trip with free dining with some friends and that fell through. I was seriously bummed that I wouldn't get to go to Disney this year. I think the universe felt my pain.

I stood behind a family, before the gates opened, who had first come to DLR through a radio station contest. Started an addiction. They had a terrific time during the won trip, and fairly quickly bought APs to go again and again.

Congratulations!!!! In 2006 I won a Disney Trip from Minute Maid...we were able to pick which park and so we picked Disney World. I can totally share your excitement!!!!

You are right about the universe. I enter contests 1 hour a day and have been very lucky. I just got back from a trip to Atlantis in the Bahamas where I got to meet the Jonas Bros. We have been having a very tough year and one day I thought about how much it would be nice to go to the Carribean and that I also felt badly about not being able to do anything special for my husband's 50th birthday. About a week later, I got the call about the trip. While technically not the Carribean, the Bahamas is certainly close enough.

Have a great time. Stay at the GCH if they let you.
