Congratulations! We have family friends who have three adoptive children and they celebrate each of their official adoption days every year. They call it "we got you day". It is sort of like a small birthday party. They have cake and the child gets a small gift. Then they get out the photo albums and talk about how they "got them". A little girl in my DD's kindergarten class had her official day last month and they celebrated in class. The teacher made sure and made a big deal out of how special it was, and she would know since she was adopted as a small child also.
