After 3 1/2 years of court hearings and waiting, and on the last day of November, Adoption Awareness Month, we are finally signing the papers to adopt our son!

We still have the formality of going before a judge as soon as we can get on the calendar, but as of today, that little bit of uncertainty and fear that hung over us will be gone.

Reading your congrats is sooo surreal, I don't know when it's going to hit me. We haven't even made plans to celebrate with dinner or anything yet. I always dreamed we'd head for Disney, but we were only given two days notice, I'm out of vacation days for the year, and honestly, I think I was expecting another postponement....wow, I'll probably start bawling with happiness and relief when I least expect it. Thank you all so much!!!!!
