We will be heading to Dollywood soon!

Does anyone else go there for Harvest, Bluegrass, Gospel Festival and to see the Pumpkin Lights?

We don’t get there every year. Some pumpkins from a previous year!

We went to Luminights once when we were in the area for something else. Highly recommend! Dollywood is such a gem. Very relaxing, and we loved all the benches & shade.

We went a few weeks ago. The program has a listing in orange if you want to catch all of the music groups (ie, show up at the time in orange to fit them all in in one day), not sure if it would allow time for much else.

We had a great time, and will probably be purchasing a season pass.

We lived in Ohio and had season passes to Dollywood since 1998! It was only a 5 hour drive, now it’s more like 12 hours away. So we have to spend a night on the road each way, but we really have enjoyed our visits.

I booked my first trip to Dollywood today for a long weekend in November. It will be my husband, my mom (whom we will have in a wheelchair) and me. I want to see the Christmas lights, experience the shows, maybe do some easy rides if possible, visit the Dolly museum stuff and sample foods/restaurants that Dollywood is known for. Do you have recommendations of shows not to miss, foods to taste or activities worth trying? I'm open to any suggestions.

Check the above link regarding accessibility. Dollywood has hills. There are designated routes to different venues that have lesser inclines. If your mother can use an ECV, I strongly recommend her renting one.

I think all the Christmas shows are great, definitely worth seeing. The most difficult to get to is the one in the Celebrity Theater. It’s “Christmas in the Smokies.” We see it twice every year, it’s just that good!

Dollywood is awesome!!!!!
Great food, fun rides, friendly people, the park is really clean. And so much fun during the Christmas season!!! The North Pole is a wonderful experience for the little guys wanting to send their own letter to Santa and then to walk through the winter wonderland and have their picture made with an awesome Santa!!!!

Yes they do!



Yes and their bird show is informative, and tells about how young birds are released when they are ready!

We’re heading there just before Christmas to see the lights. Our oldest goes to school in Knoxville, and was at Dollywood last weekend with friends. It’s a nice park.
