Our "that family" moments largely came from DD2 in the form of...
"it's too hot" - but to be fair she's 4 and from the UK and it was Early August
"It's too cold" - Air conditioning in restaurants
" it's too dark" - indoor rides
" It's too far" - anything that involved not being carried or in her brothers stroller
"It's too bright" - sun in general
and my personal favourite of "It's burning my EYEBALLS"
Combine the constantly flow of complaint from afore mentioned 4 year old with a sassy ten year old, a 20 month old who wanted to walk everywhere with no harness and an autistic, dyspraxic 5 year old... 2 grandparents who seem to clash with my DH at the least opportune times and an extended family group and yes... yes we were that family quite often!
However what I do have to say is despite the times of wondering why oh why i travelled with them the positives waaaaay out balanced the negatives and i'd go again in a second.
