We were MNSSHP Grand Marshalls on 10/16!!

We were selected to be in the October 16th Boo To You Parade. Our family of 5 were dressed as characters from Hercules. DH was Zues, DS10 was Hades, DS8 was Hercules, DS2 was Pegasus and I was Meg. We were standing in Adventureland at 6:15 waiting to meet some other DISers when a CM came up to us and said he loved our costumes and wondered if we would like to be Grand Marshalls. It was amazing riding in one of the Main Street Vehicles down the parade route waving to everyone watching. It was truely a once in a lifetime experience. We do not have any photos so I am hoping that someone that was there on October 16th and viewed the 8pm parade would share any photos that they might have taken. If anyone has video I would love to get a copy, I'll pay you for it. There was another DIS family in the parade to. They were dressed as pirates. Amazing. Anyone out there see us?

My dh who is not the planner nor does he like a lot of attention says that being in the parade was the highlight of our trip. I still can't believe that it happened.

That is too cool!!! What a special piece of Disney Magic . I wish something like that would happen for us during our trip. My kids would flip !! Hope someone can help you with the pictures and video. Good luck!

We were there that night at Mnsshp, Sorry we didn't take pictures at the parade.. We have friend that were with us, that took some once they get them back we will see if theres any from the beginning. Thats so great!!

We were picked to ride in Walt's Car at MNSSHP on 10/28!!!! Yes, what an awesome experience. At the halfway point, at the bridge from Liberty Square to the Plaza, our driver tells us, this is the halfway point, you can rest your cheeks and stop smiling!! I tell her, you have to be kidding, who can stop smiling!! We were dressed as the Fairy Godmother and a Main Street Trolley Dancer!

You all are correct. It was an amazing experience never to be forgotten. I hope that someone out there has a great picture or video. It is something that I would cherish forever. Steamboat Marti and MGKKdm took one, but it was a little blurry and only shows 2 of us.

We got to be Grand Marshall's at the October 11th Halloween Parade! It was awesome and so fun to see the MK from that perspective. We were lucky and a fellow Dis'er "Rpsemont" had a video from the parade that she sent us. She did get a shot of my 2 children on the double decker bus! Congrats on being picked! Was "Fred" the CM who picked you? He was very nice. Kathy

I just realized my whole extended family (except me) were there the night you were grand marshalls - I am checking with them to see if any of them videotaped or has pictures

I didn't realize you were there the same night they were there -

my BIL had his video camera - so here's hoping he taped that night -
