The Mickey Mouse statues in Chicago are absolutly great. They are on State Street (both sides) and widely spread apart from one another.

For anybody living in the Chicagoland area I would highly recommend going before they leave - which is July 20th. For anybody that lives where the statues will be going next - I would definitly take the opportunity to go see them.

Remember to take your cameras and good walking shoes!!

I'm going to see them this weekend when I go to the Taste.

They are coming to Atlanta pretty soon, and I plan to go see them. I saw them while they were at WDW, but it will be really neat to see them here--like a little piece of WDW at home. :)

We saw 4 of them in Boston a wk and1/2 ago. They are great. We had a lobster one, a computer one and 2 others I can't remember.

We just saw them this last weekend. We stayed at the Palmer House, and they were right outside our door. I was very disappointed to see that Kelly Ripa's Mickey had been written on with a pen. I don't remember what it said, but it was on Mickey's ear. You can get close to them unlike in Florida where they were surrounded by ropes.

Yes - I remember this, what a shame!!! I never quite understood the attraction w/ graffiti - why do people feel the need to ruin other peoples property??? What a shame, what a shame:( .

DD loved the Raven one - she loves Raven and thought this ::MickeyMo was really cool:cool: .

I was actually quite surprised they put them on State Street where they did. We did a lot of walking. We were up on Michigan Avenue. The further north you got, the better. State Street was fine during the day, but the later it got at night, the quieter those streets got. I understand that they probably put them there to draw people to the area. I also saw quite a few people climbing all over them. When we were at WDW, it would have been nice to get close to them, but not on top of them.

DD and I are hoping to go into Chicago on Monday to see the statues. It should be a fun day taking the train in and doing lots of walking!!
