We want to go to Universal from Disney for a day. Rent a car or take a towncar?

We are planning to go to Islands of Adventure one day during our March trip. We plan on taking a Tiffany TownCar van, there are 7 of us, to and from the airport (we are staying at Boardwalk). Should we rent a van (if so, do you have any idea how expensive it would be) or hire the towncar to take us to and from Universal. Thanks!

If you check National, there is a rental desk at the Dolphin, which is right next to your hotel. I think a minivan runs about $100 for a day. You can most likely try the codes, etc to get this discounted somewhat.

Alamo is running a special $42/day for a minivan (plus taxes and fees). Rate code is QV and they are showing a location in the Dolphin.

If you rent a car, you can leave whenever you want to and not have to worry about being somewhere on time for pick up.

Thanks for the help. I think we will probably go with Alamo. Having a location at the Dolphin will be great and that rate sure sounds good to me.
