Not only did DH and I finally cross into double digits over the weekend (95 days to go!), but we got a super sweet refund check yesterday (much higher than we'd expected) which enabled us to upgrade our GV room at the Poly to a TPV! That, right there, makes the trip perfect for the both of us. There's just something about being able to see the castle before going to bed, and waking up to it the next morning (not to mention being able to watch Wishes from our room!).
This is such a special trip for us, as the past 7 months have been tremendously stressful. DH's dad suffered a brain hemorrage in November which led to our moving in with him - while he's definitely not as bad as he could be, thank God, he needs to be supervised at all times. Finally, back in March, DH talked to the rest of his family and told them that we need to get away for the sake of our sanity. They all agreed to pitch in and be at the house while we're gone. We're so, so, SO looking forward to this!
We spent our honeymoon and 1st anniversary at the Poly - now on to anniversary #2!
