Good morning! Kari and AU - how are the kids??
)
No we don't do the whole car check out thing either. Although we may have to in the next day or two. We did have the oil changed and the tires rotated. DH thinks it is a computer problem b/c the door locks did this weird thing where they kept opening and closing the other day. Good for you on the packing!Hey ya'll!
Kari - so glad to hear that Anders isn't sick. Still sending up prayers. Someone on another thread, that actually was all about what to do for a child's cough, said to rub vicks on the child's feet and put socks on.(The child not you) Several people swear it works, nobody knows why. One of those folk med mysteries. Couldn't hurt to try. They all said they used it at night to stop coughing. I didn't know you could use Zicam on kids. Lilly has a stuffy nose and sneezing now to go with the cough that she's had, maybe I need to get some for her. Will it help that? The good news is, our Ped is probably going to be at WDW at the same time and I already have his cell#. Don't think I won't call him up at his suite at the GF or where ever successful Dr.s stay and make him fix my sick child.No we don't do the whole car check out thing either. Gotta run, Rhett crying

there's more to checking the car than changing the oil and rotating the tires?![]()

AUssie, you need a car? Gosh I wish I could give you mine. I hate my car. It's a perfectly good car, I just hate it. Unfortunately, it will be 3 years old in April and I just turned 14,000 miles on it. That sucker is going to last forever. It's a company car and I have no good reason to get a new one other than I don't like this one. My attitude has gotten worse ever since my boss said I could have the BMW roadster for my next car. He probably said that knowing that this Toyota Solara is going to be with me FOREVER.......
What color is it??I would be happy to take it off your hands for you so that you can get your BMW!!!What color is it??
It's the pearlized white with a tan convertible top, tan leather interior with heated seats, onboard navigation system, etc. It has every option that was available. The only thing I like about it is that it's a soft top and those heated seats. I will never have a car without those again.
I don't know why I hate this car but I do. I never felt that way about a car before. It's like it's personal now. This car offended me in some way and there's nothing it can do to make it up to me now.
Woo-hoo, the work day is over. I'm heading home!!!!!
). Then it became a back stabber with all these little issues like the front power window malfunctioned making drive thru Starbucks impossible. Then the sliding door on the driver's side stopped sliding. Then it turned and swiped its side on a guardrail that was not in its appropriate place due to an another rude car that had bent it all out of shape (ok, that might have been my problem). The kids and DH feel like it's an extra room in the house, maybe the kitchen?, and it is disgusting. I can't keep it clean. Now, we've been told that the steering fluid is leaking, but that we should hold off fixing it (we drove the thing 38,000 miles in 2 yrs on a lease, already over warranty) because the dealership keeps seeing this issue from 06's and they anticipate a recall. What more can this car do to me? If the heated seats go out.....you'll see it on the side of the highway, I swear!
With all that room, it would be trashed pretty quick like.
However, since the rental is a bright yellow Xtera, she's okay. I love my Tahoe, but I have a hard time parking it. It's pretty big.Hey ya'll!
Yippee, Pakey's back! Hope you're feeling better.
That's why I don't want a minivan, I know it would look like my in-laws trailer in no time.With all that room, it would be trashed pretty quick like.
DH took the car in and there is a problem with the spacely sprocket, (part of the transmission), so they're keeping it for a day or two (we hope!). DD went with him and when the guy said they needed to leave it she told him "You can't keep our car, we need our car, we're going to Disney World, we gotta have our car!"However, since the rental is a bright yellow Xtera, she's okay. I've been so busy with work this week - haven't been on here too much. I have three more payrolls to get out by Thursday - I am exhausted!
