This was our first time for Spring Break. I must admit I was a little nervous about going because of crowds and FP+ but I am happy to say it worked out. This was our first time staying at Riverside and enjoyed it. We were in a preferred room so we were close to the food court which for us is a plus. We checked in on 3/15 and our first park day was 3/16 at HS. We rope dropped. Made it on Tower of Terror and Rock N Roller Coaster before 10. I actually had a FP scheduled for Tower of Terror for later in the day that I changed to Great Movie Ride. I'm glad I did change it because standby for GMR was at 30 minutes when we used our FP. Crowds seemed moderate but not crazy like the Spring Break pics I have seen in the past. Also our next day at Epcot, again at RD, we were able to ride TT and Soarin' both before ten. I had a FP for TT and changed it for Maelstrom which seemed to have a 30-40 minute wait most of the day and with the FP were got right on. It did start to rain and rained most of that day. We still had a good time. Tuesday, 3/18 we did MK. This was the day that the crowds were noticeable. We had FP for BTMR, Pirates and HM. We did get there at drop and did SM, Buzz, Dumbo, LM, IASW. After we did those most stand by waits were over 30 minutes and we still had time to kill until our first scheduled FP. No one wanted to wait for any thing over a 30 minute wait and I was unable to move my FP time up because the availability was only for later in the evening. So we did some walking around waiting for our FP times to begin at 2:00. We tried to eat but the Peco Bill's and Columbia Harbor House both had lines out the door. We did MK again the next day and noticed the crowds weren't as bad and waits for standby weren't as long. We were able to do everything we wanted. I would say FP+ worked fine for us but can see it being very limiting in MK especially during peak seasons. The only complaint I have is I felt I was constantly on my phone checking MDE for wait times and changing times for fast passes that my phone died early in the day. I wish there were more charging stations around the parks. Overall it was a great trip with no major complaints. I wish I was still there and I cannot wait to visit again.
