Hi there :wave2:

:sad1: What a downer :sad1:
We should be at Disney now on our honeymoon
We had to put it back due to my dw new job
I know we still have it to look forward to
but it would have been nice to be there now

 Roll on September, 3 weeks of magic

:thumbsup2

:goodvibes Don't worry you be there soon enough! Don't fret, WDW isn't going anywhere and if the timing wasn't right, it just wasn't! You'll go to WDW many many times. 3 more months, no biggie, right?!:thumbsup2

Having to reschedule would drive me nuts! :) You'll havea great time I'm sure... 3 weeks!? SWEET! Just a couple weeks to go ourselves....

We had to reschedual our first ever family trip to WDW too. :( The last time we visited was our honeymoon in 95. After 14 months of planning, we were supposed to leave this past Mother's Day for a week at Disney World. My boys (8 and 5) had told all their friends and we had cleared it with the school. 72 hours before we left....my DS sat me down and suggested for many different reasons, that going at this time, was just not fesable. We went to the travel agent and rebooked for the last week in November (my DS5 will now turn 6 while we're at WDW). That's over 6 months away!! I was heartbroken to see the day come, and go, but to tell you the truth, between the wild fires, expected hurricane, and stress (work scheduals, financial) leading up to the trip, I expect our new reschedualed trip will be an even better one! Besides my DS having his birthday there, we bought tickets for MVMCP and plan to do the Candlelight Processional. We added a day at the resort and it still cost us the same in the end (thanks to the last week in November kicking off value season!). Everything happens for a reason. Now I have six more wonderful months of planning! ;)

I am sure it was difficult to accept, but the trade off (seeing it decorated for Christmas) will more than make up for it. :cool1: Make sure to see the Osborne Lights also.:thumbsup2 Have a GREAT trip.
