Thanks again Dan - you do such a great job on these tributes.

My DH & I watched the funeral service last night - hadn't planned on it - but once we started I couldn't turn the channel. I was bawling and laughing through the whole thing. And let me tell ya- my tough DH was doing some sniffling from the other end of the couch as well.

My heart was just breaking for Nancy & those kids. They were so strong through this whole thing. I just fear that Nancy won't last long without Ron...

Oh, Dan - thank you so much. There were tears streaming down my face (like others). I didn't watch the funeral, as Gary and I went out to dinner and to a vacation-condo share presentation.

We're also getting ready for our second Eagle award ceremony next Saturday. Two boys - two Eagles!

I dropped over here after the web site for Eagle ceremonies I was on crashed.

You do such a nice job.......a simple thank doesn't seem enough.

Thanks yet again, for another great tribute. I agree with the poster above me that you couldn't have picked a more appropriate song to use for this one. This entire week has found me, laughing, crying, and just reflecting on President and Mrs. Reagan's lives. You've captured all of this weeks events very nicely. and at the same time.

I know - I sat watching and sobbing and wished the screen had gone black just before that. I also secretly hoped that after the ceremony, when everyone else left, that they allowed the family to have a moment of truly private time.

Thank you, Dan. That was wonderful and inspiring- I loved the picture of the mounted rangers or police on the side of the road in CA.

I already decided this last week that we are fitting a visit to the Reagan Library on our way back from Disneyland to my parent's house in N. CA. I hope to show my boys, at least my older one, a glimmer of what this man meant to our country and world history.
