Please tone down the rhetoric. Some will love BLT, some will just like it , and others simply don't care. Refering to those to whom BLT's location and amenities do not matter as "haters" is a little over the top.

I think the person is just joking...it's hard to tell a persons tone on a message board, you know what I mean?

There are plenty of people who are saying some pretty "hateful" things about BLT's decor. I'm sure snowbunny was only referring to that. It's not "rhetoric" ... just opinion, given with a smilie, too! Don't take it so seriously!

Back on topic, I love the blue! It comes across on my monitor as sort of a "Tiffany's box" blue. Very nice! Thanks for posting your photos, OP!

As for "haters" take a look at this thread that refers to the BLT decor as "yuck" and "butt ugly"--that sounds to me like hating the decor...

I got a new camera this year that has setting that take pictures with very accurate color tones. Because they had it set up as a night time view, my older camera never would have been able to provide the accuracy that the new one does for an indoor, lower light setting. As the colors of my blog pics show up on my monitor, they look very close to the actual models', for which I am well pleased!

Let me take a wild guess that you don't have teenagers..."haters" is common slang and yes I was joking.

Second if BLT doesn't matter to people, why are there so many threads "BLT decor - blechh!" type of thing...seems to matter a lot to some, so let me stand up and say "I like it!"

As to the Sarah Palin question (from another poster)...LOL, that could not be more wrong

Didn't mean to sound judgemental - guess I've read one too many threads on the Community board recently and didn't want to see the DVC threads going that direction . BTW - your guess was wrong. One daughter , age 15 - just got her learners permit .

I will admit that judging by the pictures posted BLT does not "wow" me. However, many thought that the AKV units were "too dark" from their original photos and later revised their opinions when they saw the actual units. I choose to reserve full judgement till then.

I like those interiors much more than some of the other resorts. But, I like the sleek modern look.

The location does not do much for me as it does for others, but I may be interested in staying there with those interiors.

Thanks for the pictures. It actually looks better than I thought it would. It's not me, but they can't all be my taste. That's what makes DVC so appealing. As for Sarah Palin, We Love her in our State!

I like the colors, especially the blue, like the kitchen alot, however and this might just be camera angle but the studio seems really small, between the bed, couch and window.

There does not seem to be a full size nightstand.

I think the décor is cool!!

Now, I own at (and absolutely love) VWL – which is the polar opposite of BLT, but I can certainly appreciate this style.

I especially LOVE the artwork!! How fun! This is the most artwork that I have seen, and I think it rocks! Thanks Pixie Dust!!

yea at lot of negatives here= that say since it is the same people over and over again - you have got to ask yourself why do they bother.

do they actually think their opinions are so important that they will change others?

on the threads that I am not interested in don't post to them.

you didn't post the new shelves - just love it!!! you can store a lot of stuff in the new shelves.

don't like the sink to the bathroom is not in the bathroom - so using the tub to wash hands - and also washing down that door handle and really, really well when I arrive.

I think you're on to something there Pat !

and I was one who on day 1 when the models were first seen online said I wasn't "wow'd" by it. BLT is starting to grow on me and my dh too. I actually see it as kind of a cool, retro design now. BLT's decor and layout is definitely unique from all the other DVC's and this is what I think is it's charm. At least that's my opinion. If the economy would have been better, we most likely would have added on here too (in addition to AKV). But for now, we're in a "wait and see" mode.
