After 9 days of patiently waiting for our SSR 150 contract (Oct UY) we finally got the congratulations email from the TSS !!!!!



In a few weeks we will be official SSR DVC owners !!!

Thanks for all the great advice - we cant wait until our first trip home !!!

Update - we just received an email from the TSS letting us know that they have received all the info they needed and will be sending us the closing documents within the next day or two. Looks like things are going much faster then predicted.

Robert stated that once we reveiw the docs and are ok with them - we need to return them signed with our check and once the sellers sign them - we are done.

Hmmm - are resales through TSS always this smooth......well so far - keeping fingers crossed.

Oh, you all are giving me hope!!!

I am taking my friend and my DD's to AKV on rented points in the end of October. DH just gave me the OK to buy a resale contract! I called The Timeshare Store, made an offer and it was accepted within 10 minutes! The contract and deposit were mailed out the next day, and two days later, it was on its way to Disney for ROFR. Now, we're waiting....we're on day 4! My hope is that we'll be able to close and be in the system before our October trip. I would love to go to the AKV and see it through the eyes of an owner! It would be even better if I would get my membership card by then, but I was told that will be highly unlikely.
