We traveled to WDW in December with the family. Only my husband had to renew his AP. We went to the guest svcs window at Magic Kingdom and got him an AP. We showed our DVC card and it says DVC member on our card, BUT we paid approximately $465. I just thought they had a price increase at the time. We no longer have the receipt, and I just discovered this as I was researching a new AP for myself this summer. Is there any way of getting the difference back? I guess they just didn't apply the discount.

Do you have a credit card statement with the amount paid? I think you'll need some kind of proof of the amount you paid. They probably could research it through the numbers on the pass.

I was overcharged for my AP with DVC. But I had a receit. I think that they also had the transaction in the computer by our AP numbers. They were very accomodating and I got $175 back. I took them back to the same place that I bought them.

Good luck, I hope you get your money back.

That almost happened to me, fortunately I knew exactly how much it should cost and was able to correct the CM at the time. I would say if you have a credit card receipt, go back to the same Guest Services window and see if they can help.

You have to be so careful anymore. We were shorted 3 weeks on our AP's when we renewed. We didn't realize it until later in the day. The CM gave us a very hard time and told us it would be difficult to fix. At $1200+ for 3 passes and very strong opinions expressed by me, he magically was able to retype and reprint them. They will have a record of what you paid. You shouldn't need a receipt. Let us know what happens. You might even be able to clear it up by phone.

try calling.
we had bought 2 DVC AP's online (for pickup at the parks), but they showed only one being purchased when we went to pick them up. so we had to buy another while we were there :guilty:
called DVC, called ticketing..went back & forth for about a month with ticketing (i did have the CC statements showing i was charged for 3).
finally got my money back, but it took a lot of calls & persistance ~ $370 was too much for me to just give up on :sad2: (btw, apparently "someone" at ticketing cancelled my other pass, but never put thru the refund ).
even without the receipt, ticketing can search for the transaction using your CC number.
good luck!
