I think all of these threads about all the bad stuff that's going on are just fanning the flames. We need to apologize and be done with it. I know I'm being completely hypocritical, but I just think someone needs to say it. We need to move on. I know some people will probably disagree with me, but let's just try not to make it into one of those nasty threads again. Just a thought.

Just my opinion... (please don't take this the wrong way!) I think actaully admitting that we've been doing something wrong is helping. The last day we've been apologizing and actually making progress threads. Sure we've made plenty of threads about how bad it is,but lately the threads have been more about... What can we do to help the problem?... It's hard for some to just get over it. We need ways to help it...

I do think there are too many threads about the bad stuff that has happened, yes some are being helpful but why cant the dis be itself?
Something I have to say,
I am very sad that Shelby and Mike, two great people left. But they weren't always nice, i know that Shelby did start some fights, and Mike did too. They did make peace too.

I'm saying that everyone has made a rude comment once, and I am glad you all have taken notice of this.
To improve, lets all just come together on threads, and sometimes a new person will come and stir things up, but we cant be afraid of that! Nobody should be afraid to state their opinion on the dis. because everyone's opinion is important. But when that person does state their opinion, don't get mad or anything because everyone thinks differently.
Let's just take being nice to heart, get the dis. back to normal, and forget about all this fighting stuff!

Hey! We're making prgress! We haven't had a fight in 2 days! lol.

I'll apologize for being rude sometimes. Some things, I'm not sorry for. But for others, I am. I think these past few days has really made an impact on us. With Shelby leaving and all. Even though she annoyed me alot, she was one of the only ones trying to help. Trying to help the TB. But, we let her down and she couldn't take it anymore. She'll be missed but now that she's gone, we'll need new people to step up.

I agree. We had the a period over the last couple of days where all of those threads helped us. That's great. At this point, I think we should stop dragging out the process. It's done, so we should take what we have learned and apply it to threads we post on now.

A more on-topic note, I agree that we need to let things rest. We have dragged the apologies out long enough, we all know that we are sorry, and I think we need to move on.

Truthfully, I hadn't really noticed that the TB was getting that bad; probably because I never read the Truth or Dare thread, I heard that it was pretty bad.

The true test is whether we will be able to function without a dozen peacemaking threads. When these threads are gone, I hope we can continue to be civil.
