I think she's crying more out of guilt, about the fact that she KNEW she would have cut Chris lose last week after the Hometown dates, but the producers wanted her to keep him on to be the next Bachelor. She didn't come to any "sudden" realization that she's not Iowa farmer's wife material. This isn't Green Acres.

Now Chris is brokenhearted, and in perfect position to be the next Bachelor, in which they find good farm/country girls for him next season, who like plaid.

According to the woman from my home town that was on the bachelor, they told her exactly what to wear and what color to dye her hair!

DH wandered through during that scene, stood there for a minute and said "What's wrong with him - why can't he form a sentence?"

I think it's because he's acting and is trying to ad lib the lines he thinks are needed as he goes. Not doing much of a job of it though - smarmy man.

I'm not surprised. I thought that Chris was going home for that last couple of weeks and I'm surprised he hung on so long (esp over Marcus). I'm not sure that he would make a good Bachelor. It's like he's a good supporting actor that won't be good in a lead role. He's cute and romantic and built and successful, but he doesn't have the charisma to carry the show IMO. Sorry Chris fans .

I don't remember searching it - doesn't mean I didn't, but don't have any fungus that I know of . It does change ads quite often, but I get the toe nails a LOT - and seriously.... they are sickening! Thanks for telling me though - before I mentioned the "other ads".

I agree. He is a super sweet guy, one of the best contestants they've had on the show as far as being kind and humble and having character. But I think he would be swallowed by the horde of women if they make him the next bachelor. After being on the show, I doubt he'll have any problem finding plenty of women to court!!

I predict a ho-hum finale where she picks the guy who was "her type" from the get-go (Josh).

I wonder if, watching the show now, she is surprised by all the Nick hate (because I don't recall any of the guys telling her he was a worm) and if she feels stupid for not seeing it.
