Well we have made the choice to finally move out of our first home and buy the one we really want. That said Disney is not gonna happen in May like I had hoped for. I am so depressed!!! I know we will get there again but now I don't have a plan as to when. Has anyone else found themselves in the same situation. Did you get to go the following year, part of me thinks it would even work out to take that year break, the kids may love it even more if it has been awhile since the last trip.
This may sound dumb but I almost want to stay in this small house with no yard so I can go to Disney...LOL
On the other hand my kids would love a big yard that they could play in all year long! Thanks for letting me vent I feel better now...lol
Maybe I can plan a longer trip if it is farther off....lol

I was in similar situation but it worked out better and we are MOVING there. My dad is sweet to let us stay with him for awhile until we get jobs and can find an apartment. We are hoping to pay off our credit cards and we have on pretty big debt we'd like to take a chunk out of before moving out to apartment but we don't want to be a pain either.

So I actually get to go earlier but when the news was first hit that dh has lost his job. I was sad that we'd not be able to go to our trip that was orgionally planned for October sometime. I was going for a job that I was sure I'd get but then didn't. That was the actual first oh no we won't get to go moment since we needed that income to save for it.

I bet you'll get back into saving for it soon and before you know it you will be planning another trip. Good luck with the move too. I'm sure it will be great for your family.

I feel your pain. We will be postponing our December trip because my husband has a new job down state and had to get an apartment there until we move this house we just bought 2 years ago. I am so blue.
