Hi Universal Experts!
We are heading to WDW next week for a try-things-we-haven't-before-because we know the parks will be crowded trip!
Dilemna: My DDs have put into go to Universal one day (which I am happy to do b/c I also enjoy US and IOA). My DDs are young (4 and 6) so we can usually do both parks in one full day since we can't/don't ride everything. Soooo, these are our options:
1. Just go over to US/IOA one day from Disney (probably tues. Aug. 1st)
2. Arrive one day sooner and stay on-site Friday night to get FOTL passes for Sat., 7/29; or
3. Arrive one day sooner and stay off-site Fri. night and go on 7/29.
(Save $$$$)
I suppose what I am really asking is how are the crowds at US/IOA right now? Are lines long enough to necessitate staying on site to get FOTL privileges? When we've done it in the past, it has been wonderful - my girls often like to ride rides several times in a row.
Ideas? thanks all!!! Laura
