This is the one we like...Help us find a name.

We have a gray one that looks very similar. He is our best cat! He is Obi. Most of our cats are named after Star Wars.

looks like my old cat Pippin, from lord of the rings before it's recent popularity ( ie in the late 60s-70s,all us hippies liked it but not to many other people :rotfl2: ). he had a brother Gimli :sad2:

Just saw a gray cat up for adoption in my PetSmart. Her name is Willow.
My SIL had a gray cat named Wheezie.

I sure hope we get approved to adopt him...I was instantly drawn to him...

I like the name Jack but DH does not. I am just not sure...I can't come up with anything smart and original.

If your a HUGE Dinsey fan, as my family is, you'd name it after a charater.

PM me (optional) with the kitty's personality, I'll be 99.9% sure to give you a Disney charater name well suited for it.

(Gender included, plz!)

Well, we have only seen him for 5 minutes and they won't let you hold them till you are approved for adoption. He is male and seems really sweet.

I don't know if we want a Disney name, a Star Wars name or just a regular name...I just don't know. :headache:

How about Horton? He is gray like an elephant!! :)

My Aunt and Uncle had a grey cat they named Kalamazoo. One of the coolest cats I've ever known.

Love Kalamazoo...I really hope we get this little guy.

Very handsome looking fellow! We have a grey longhaired named Seymour that we adopted about 4 1/2 years ago. We helped find a home for a cat that looked just like this little fellow. He was a stray that showed up in our yard and followed me around for about a week. Looked everywhere for his owner, no one came forward to claim him. We called him Shadow. Sweetest disposition in the world. Our Seymour just wouldn't warm up to him. Seymour is a bruiser (almost 17 lbs and 30 inches from nose to tail!) and likes keeping this a one cat home!

Best of luck in bringing this one home!:thumbsup2

Thank you all for the help...We just got the call that we were approved so we are going to see if he is still there. Then we have to take him to the vet to get him tested for Feline HIV and if he tests negative, we can bring him home...Wish us luck.

P.S. DH has finally agreed to a form of Jack...it's Jaxxon (obscure Star Wars Character) and we will call him JAX for short. His name at the shelter is Blue and we think that Jaxxon Blue sounds nice. What do you think?

We'll keep our fingers crossed that he is still available and that his tests are all good!:thumbsup2

I think he will make a great addition and I am sure JAX will like his name just fine.

Hope all goes well!

Hope everything checks out ok with the little guy. Jax sounds like a great name and Jaxxon Blue too! It's kind of similar to my Corgi's name (the one in my avatar) - he's Blue Jammer. :goodvibes

Jax is HOME and HIV negative...YEAH!!!

We just got back from the vet. He's healthy and does not have the Feline aids virus...He is HOME to stay.

He's adorable. How old is he? What do your other cats think of him?
