This morning was early entry at MK. We got to the bus stop at 6:51 AM, waited 9 minutes. We made it to MK by about 7:40, so it worked out great.
The locker rental CM gave us our locker for free because it's my birthday.
We got a FP for Space Mtn, rode Buzz, Tea Cups, Pooh, Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates before our 10 AM breakfast at CP.
After breakfast we were looking at pins (and jewelry) in Uptown Jewelers and we saw Scoop Sanderson! He is the pin trading guy at MK. He is a really fun character! DS played a pin trading game with him and got 3 pins for his collection. I got a pin because it is my birthday. Then he called 2 of the ladies (Miss Inga DePointe and one of the other ladies who strolls up and down Main Street) over to wish me a happy birthday. The 3 of them decided to sing Happy Birthday, and a whole crowd of people joined in. I was laughing so hard I was crying. Very magical!
I called our apartment manager to ask if she would let my friend in to check on our cats since the pet sitter hasn't phoned to let us know things are OK. (This is NOT our regular lady, but I specifically said to call us after EACH visit.) Apt. manager said yes, but we had to fax written authorization. We popped over to Guest Relations and they faxed it for us - they were wonderful! My friend called about 1 PM to let me know she was at the apartment and the cats are fine. Food and water bowls were full, mail and newspaper were inside, it looks like the lady has been coming by as agreed but she just hadn't called to check in with us. Odd.
We rode Space with our FPs. I am officially TOO OLD for that ride. It is way too rough!
By 2:30 DS was ready for a break, so we braved coming back to SSR. Got to the bus stop at 2:44, waited 11 minutes for a bus, waited 6 minutes for the bus to depart MK, but not nearly as bad as 43 minutes. We'll have to go back out for dinner tonight at Citrico's so we'll see how long we wait for that one.
FYI, the Unofficial Guide had today at a crowd level of 7, but MK was PACKED. I mean PACKED. I don't recall ever seeing it that crowded before, and I am really bad at distinguishing variations in crowd levels.
