We lost our Pal Mickey in Epcot

We are so sad

While in Epcot we went to Journey into imagination for the first time and got so engaged in the stuff at the end that Pal Mickey was put down.

We forgot all about him until later that day. I went to Guest Services, no one had turned him in.

I called Lost and found for the next 3 days.. no Pal Mickey turned in.

My kids LOVED him! They fought over who got to hold him each day.. we had to have a buddy system with him.

We purchased him last year and really can't afford another $65 for a new one..no matter how cool it is.

I tried the Character Warehouse stores to see if they have any of the older versions still and no luck.

I sure hope that whoever found him is enjoying him.. my kids are so sad and miss him very much.

We really got attached to our PAL Mickey. DH had him clipped on to his backpack when my DD wasn't holding him. We didn't bring him our last day and we found we missed him. Did you try ebay? You may be able to find a cheap one there. Good Luck!!

Dsis lost her PM in the Dinosaur ride at AK. She was sooooo sad. She inquired all over the parks. They took down her resort name and her home adress. They said they would take a look at the end of the day when ride would close down.

Dsis (45, and loves PM) did not wait, her DH bought her a new one. We did not hear from anyone for the rest of the vacation, figured PM died in the dinosaur ride crushed under a wheel of those jeeps.

Well about a month after we returned, my Dsis received a Pal Mickey by the Disney people!!! She was stunned! Although it did not look brand new, she was still pretty impressed. She figured they sent her one of the PM's they used to rent for the day, or maybe an unclaimed PM at lost and found....But she was still pretty happy.

Make sure you gave them your address, pixie dust may come your way.

Seriously...I hope you get PM back! And a hint to other PM owners/friends....I wrote my name and number on his "inner workings" (by where the batteries go) with a Sharpie...can't hurt to have him labelled.

a couple of months i purchased mickey from one of the warehouses over the phone i think it was the one in belz mall not sure have to find paper work. anyway, i got him for $13.00. Needless to say , i bought 2. it was not new one with the tux thoough. cost was $37.00 with s/h. Yes he is pricey to ship. Hope you have luck finding him.

My DS tried to lose him more than once on our last trip, but there were always pixie dusted people who would point PM out and make sure we did not leave him

I put a note inside his battery pouch:

This Pal Mickey was a very special Christmas Gift 2005 to my son (Put his name and age) . If found please call......(my cell #)

I figure even if the Grinch himself found our PM, they would have to change the batteries 1 day and find our note. If they can live with that personalized guilt then they don't have any heart at all.

After a couple of scares, my DS paid more attention and kept a tighter grip on him PM.
