Wow. My thoughts to Mya's mom & family. What a precious girl.

It's so heartbreaking to hear these sad stories and this week we've had our share of sad and tragic passings. My heart goes out to her mother and her family. I can't even imagine the sadness they are feeling now.

So sad. Who ever did that amazing montage was very kind and it tugged hard on the heartstrings. Prayers out to MyaRose's family. An angel is home and safe.

Maroo, do you know if Mya and her family were at GKTW this past December (during DAP)? She really, really looks like one of the girls who we helped at the ponies section.

Nikki - She was there in July for her official wish trip. Each child gets only one official trip (where they stay at GKTW) and hers was in July of 09.

She went into remission for a little while and then her cancer came back really bad. Her Mom told us it came back in late Feb or early March - and by March 7th they were back at Disney.

All Mya really wanted was to go back to Disney. They had a trip planned for July 2010 and had not saved enough to move it up urgently - so the DIS family all pitched in and sent her back.

I am so sorry to hear that she has lost her fight. I remember following her trip.
My condolances go out to her mom and family for their loss, I can't imagine what they are going through.

I completely agree. It's amazing the good that happens on these boards!

what a sweet angel. and what wonderful spirits here to make a second trip possible. I don't think I can read it all (too difficult!) i think i read her original TR though. lots of prayers for you, her mom and all those that loved her. Heaven just got another angel.
