I can't wait to tell the kids we are going . . .Although DD thinks she has already figured it out . . .she isn't 100% positive.
DS really is clueless . . .should make some interesting video! I still have to go to Wal-Mart and get ponchos, socks, hand sanitizer and some snacks for the plane . . .DH wants peanuts.

I think the dog is picking up some excitement . . .she has been fidgiting the last 2 days . . .Hmmmm maybe its because I keep tellin her that Grandma is comin over . . .

I have been there so many times as a kid. This time the family is going for 8 nights and I can hardly wait. We leave in 22 days and counting. We started with 187 so we are really getting down to the wire.

HAVE A BLAST!! How could you keep this from your kids? When I made the reservations I couldn't wait to tell them. Let me know about your trip when you get back. Have you been there before? Where are you staying?

We decided that this year it would be a surprise for DD and DS for their promotion into 9th and 5th grades . . . .they go to school 1/2 day tomorrow and we will tell them when they get home. Our flight leaves at 6pm so they'll have plenty of time to put together their backpacks and what they want to bring.

They've known we were going on past trips and helped with planning, but this time we wanted them to be totally surprised! Besides, it will be pretty cool to get their reactions on video . . .


This year we will be staying at WL for the first time . . .I've read and heard so many good things about it and I am looking forward to trying something different. In 1999 and 2002 we stayed at GF and in 2000 we stayed at the Poly . . .so this will be completely different being off the monorail line for a change . . .

YOUR trip will be here before you know it!! . . .I also watched my countdown clock and cannot believe how fast this year has been going . . .

that is the coolest thing i think a parent could do. my stomach got "squishy" just thinking about your kids reactions!

i hope you all have a most magical time.

p.s. - i think it is also cool that grandma comes and takes care of your doggie. i have one too and i usually miss her terribly when we go away, but it is a great feeling to know they are well taken care of.

I sat a family tuesday that had suprised their son. They had told him they were going to see family friends with 2 dogs, and he didn't realize until he got to Magic Kingdom where they were! I gave the parents some pixie dust for that!
