Next Saturday, we had down to the World! My two DSs are so excited, they are busting at the seams! My two year old asks me each time we leave the house if we are going to Disneyworld? Too cute. Our Disneyland Sing A Long Video tape is going to be worn out by the time we leave, they watch it 6 - 10 times a day! We will be at CBR for eight days beginning on 11/2 with the FTP. We are taking it slow this trip, we have PS at Chef Mickey's our first night, dinner at Ohana's one night, and breakfast at Animal Kingdom. Double stroller is ready to go, ponchos are packed, and clothes will go in late next week.

Any other suggestions to make our trip go smoothly? We are very excited!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Myself and DD8 will be there from 11/2-11/11 also at the CBR....
Who knows maybe we will run into each other......
I have not even started packing yet.....

We'll be at POR on the 2nd for a week in sunny warm Florida...won't need those ponchos...I've ordered the weather to be perfect....70-80 and no rain!!!! I'll have my lime green Mickey on, and three kids calling me "MaryAunt"::yes::

We're heading out just before you all-- (10/30) I haven't packed anything yet because to me that's part of my fun!!! I can't wait. I keep saying to myself, "NEXT TIME AT THIS WEEK I'LL BE..." Then it got really depressing because I said IN 2 WEEKS I'LL BE... HOME!!!

kilee, I feel your pain. As the long awaited WDW trip approaches there is ecstacy:teeth: and agony:( .I guess we need to start planning our next trip!

This time next week we'll be at MNSSHP:cool1: :cool1:

6 days to go for me & we haven't even told the kids yet. Plan on telling them next week with a note in their lunch.....

can't wait to see their faces when they get off the school bus...

to make things run smoother.....I would suggest a afternoon nap.....know this is difficult because parks close relatively early...but when my kids were that young, they kinda lost it late in the afternoon.

remember distinctively one time, we were in Epcot & my then 4 yr old son started to cry because he saw a salamander or some type of small lizard dead on the sidewalk. My DH & I looked at each other & we carted him & his sister(5) at the time back to our hotel room. We got take out, they were both snoring within one hour & DH & I sat on the balcony, enjoyed a glass of wine & reminicised about the day. Actually was one of my best evenings in DW.

SO,,,my total recommendation to you...is enjoy your children, take your lead from them....and remember......if you don't see it all,,,you will be back!!

Trip and have a wonderful time I might suggest you check all your reservations if you haven't already.::yes:: :wave2: :goodvibes :goodvibes :wizard:

Wishing everyone here a most magical time, enjoy, make memories. Nice. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Hi Tiffanie
We too are heading to WDW next Sat...YIPPEE!! My DD doesn't know it yet, I always tell her at the last minute (because we've had to cancel trips at the last minute in the past & it would break my heart to tell her we were going and then couldn't go...)

To make your trip more smoothly...I think from what you said you're already set. Take it slow, don't do commando days and allow an hr or 2 each afternoon (most afternoons) for rest/nap time back at your room. It really helps when they get some rest in a "quiet" atmosphere (not in the stroller in the parks). Makes it much easier for the rest of the day especially since we know they don't get the amount of sleep they're used to at night.

Don't make them go on attractions they don't want to (my dd doesn't like most of the rides and I've seen other parents talk their kids into going on something they didn't want to in the first place)...then the kids end up being miserable the rest of the day.

Take a day or 2 off from the parks and go to DTD or spend some time at your resort boating or rent a surry bike. Just breaks up the higly stimulating times and most of all HAVE A BALL!!

The weather forcast looks awesome, hopefully we won't have to unpack those ponchos!:sunny:
