we leave in 3 days & still no Magical express tags????

how close to your departure did you recieve yours? Our AAA agent was like no big deal , well it is to us. I know we can still give them our luggage claim tkts & they will pull our bags , but i really want them to have those nice bright yellow disney ME tags.
 
Is it possible that your TA received them and hasn't forwarded them to you? By now, you should have received them. DME usually sends them out within 45 days of departure. If reservations are made (or switched) within 2 weeks of departure, the tags will be sent "priority" mail (UPS, in our case).
As you already know, even without tags, DME will take your luggage if you're on the roster, but it wouldn't hurt to have your TA call them again just to verify that you are scheduled for ME!:thumbsup2

I want the tags , but i think what really bugs us the most was her attitude that it would be no big deal if we didn't get them on time.

WRONG!! it is a big deal to us.
Not the end of the world I know , but you really want all things to go as planned. Hopefully today...

I knew there was another good reason why I didn't book thru AAA.:cool2:

they're normally sent 6 weeks out prior to check-in and would have been sent to your AAA agent on your behalf. you can try calling DME directly and pleading with them and it may be possible to overnight them to you, but i'm sure it wouldn't be protocol.
 
I can certainly understand your frustration. You booked DME and want to use it to it's fullest...that's the whole point. I'm sure that either your TA just didn't get to getting them out to you (possibly lost them) or for whatever reason, DME didn't get them to the TA. If I were you, I would call DME myself, just to be sure you are in the system. If not, they can add you now.
So....if you have to travel without the yellow luggage tags, just hold onto your baggage claim tickets and give them to the DME CM at the checkin desk. They will send someone to get the bags and get them to the DME truck so they get to the resort.
I have found that there are many TAs out there who profess to be Disney knowledgable, but truly aren't. If there are those of you who wish to use a TA I suggest booking with one who is truly knowledgable about Disney. There are too many things to leave to chance.
