Hi All,
The time has finally come! We leave on the 20th for 3 weeks in sunny, hot Orlando.

I thought I would pass along some things I have done to make our vacation more convenient and enjoyable.

We are at POFQ for 5 nights, AKL for 2 nights with a Savannah view, Homewood Suites on In'tl Drive for the rest of the time.

We have purchased dining for the 5 night package and a 10 day premium hopper pass for each of us.

1. While I found the Passporter to be most helpful, it did not include enough days for us. I purchased a small, zippered 6 ring binder and added daily planning pages, blank pages, address pages and a zippered pouch for tickets, etc. The cost for the planner was $34.50. This way, I can have all of my vacation information in one place. I am leaving copies of all the pages at home, which can be easily faxed to us in case the planner is lost.

2. I am leaving photo copies of our passports, id and credit cards at home, also for the same reason.

3. I have printed business cards and laminated them (helps because I have a laminator at home). There are 2 cards for each day at the parks - one listing the attractions we do not want to miss and the ones that include Fast Pass and one card stating where our priority seating is for the sit down meal in the evening. Also, I included park hours, extra magic hours, etc. These, we can easily carry in our waist packs.

4. I will be packing our waist packs before we go and stowing them in our carry on luggage. Also in the carry on will be enough provisions for one night in case our luggage is delayed, although we are arriving at 12:37 PM. In our waist packs (which include a water bottle - will fill that at Disney) I have put: sun screen (bought big bottles and filled smaller bottles with flip caps - cheaper than buying a smaller bottle of sun screen), kleenex, small amount of cash, sunglasses, extra pair of socks, bug screen (same idea as the sun screen), digital camera, batteries, dental floss and our cards. This stuff is divided among 3 waist packs because we will always be together.

5. Address labels for sending post cards back home and a supply of postage (which I will purchase upon arrival in Orlando - we cannot buy US postage in Canada).

6. Nice little business card "Thank You's" which say "We thank you for your excellent service. While on vacation from Canada, our experience is made even more enjoyable meeting people such as yourself. Our Sincerest Thanks". We give these to a service provider along with a tip. May be tacky to some, but often there is not time while exiting a bus, etc. to issue a proper thank you.

Hope some of this stuff is useful.
