We just reserved @ Bonnet Creek for May 2007!

Tell me, did you get the nice view or the parking lot view?

I hope you enjoy!

I just got my reservation confirmation letter in the mail. We are staying at BC for 10 nights in June 2007 for a whooping 700 dollars. We are staying in a 2 bedroom deluxe in building 1facing the water. I believe we are on the 5th floor. Anyone have any ideas how the view of Disney is from there? Also my reservation letter clearly states that there is construction going on does anyone know how badly the noise is or when it starts in the morning? We are so excited about staying there and the money we are saving because the savings is allowing us to be able to also spend a week in Destin at the FF Majestic Sun. We will give up overcrowded EMH for that any day !!!!!!!!Thanks for any info!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Anybody know the bedroom layouts ?
What type of beds are in the 2nd bdrm of a 2bdrm unit ?
We'll be 4 adults (2 couples) and a toddler.

Awesome price. Can you PM me about where you got such a great price?? :yay:

When we were there in Dec there was construction going on, but it was the weekend so that is probably why it didn't bother us. :thumbsup2

I don't remember actually being able to see WDW, maybe the fireworks. Maybe someone else can share what they were able to see.

djpositivek, here is the layout

1 BR King bed in MBR
2 BR King bed in MBR and 2 queens in the 2nd BR
3 BR King bed in MBR and 2 queens in the 2nd BR and a King in the 3rd BR

We checked in about 8:30 they had a parking lot room ready & I said no thanks. Finally got in around 2pm. Have an outstanding view of Illum & some Fantasmic. We can even see the castle as we are on the 9th floor. Thanks for the heads up :thumbsup2

Good deal! Tell me. Is it me that thinks that the all or nothing view is a little strange at that resort? At least at Disney you can usually look out of your villa and see something nice. We got STD view at BWV and even in this room I would say that only a third of the view was the parking lot, the rest was the river, landscaping and MGM.

For you all how have been staying at BC, are there only 1 and 2 br? I thought it was mentioned somewhere that they also had 3 br? Or am I dreaming?

It will be me, DH. MIL, DD 12, nephew 7, SIL & BIL, so we were hoping for a 3 br to make it comfortable for everybody.

Also wondering about the shuttles, as we will be flying in and have no car, being used to come and go as we please with Disney transportation, would this be a problem with scheduled shuttles only?

And, if you stayed for Wishes, Illuminations or Fantasmic, how did you get back to BC if not bringing a car/renting one? Taxi?

I guess once you stay on property you get spoiled :rolleyes1 but for all of us renting a friends points, it is very cheap after splitting the cost, think $900 total which is an awesome deal!

There are up to 4 BR villas. We got a 3 BR on our last night.

Hopefully someone else can tell you more about shuttles. I probably would not stay there without a car, we were not impressed with them last May.

We were able to watch Wishes, Illuminations last night in the pouring rain from our BED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2: Kids were pretty disappointed having to leave MGM, we were on Fanastmic Dinner package. Sat in the downpour for about 25 minutes and gave up. I agree the views are one extreme or the other. We were lucky, won't hold my breath for next time.

How fun!!! What building are you satying in?

Would anyone have the floorplan of the 3 br or pictures of a 3 br? We are very excited to be able to stay there next year, still worried about shuttles going back to BC so early (they might change/add more times ;)

I'm just so curious to see what a 3 br looks like and as we are renting a friends points, we don't have the logon to see the floorplans.

Anyone?

Thanks :goodvibes

bonzarella

was it wishes MK or illuminations Epcot fireworks you saw...??

bayoutinksmom: Thank you so so much, wow it's a huge 3 br, lots of space!!!!

YOur welcome!!! When are you guys going to BC? ALso I see you are form Kansas. I spent 18 months at Ft. Riley.

My DS Godparents are giving us the point to stay a week at BC for free. We are taking both God sisters and I am buying one of them the airfare. They are paying for their tickets and food. So it is a great deal for us to have a 2 br. villa for the price of airfare!

I am use to staying onsite and having ME for my luggage but with two teenage girls we should be able to do ok. We have to bring a car seat and a stroller and our luggage. I think a rent a car is in order since reading about the bad bus service.

We are going in Jan. Will it be too cold to swim? April

bayoutinksmom: We're not going until Sept 22-29 I believe, but I'm already in planning mode :rotfl: We just got back this last Saturday :)

It's only because a friend of ours has points we can rent and we're bring MIL, SIL,BIL and nephew on this trip, we will need the space to be able to co-excist for a week :lmao:

Are there TV's in all the rooms or is it only in the living area? It's hard to see on the floorplan.

We drove by BC leaving OKW and wondered what it was as you only see the entrance, now we know :thumbsup2

For the price we pay per couple, not even the free dining plan could beat it so we've decided to give it a try!

18 months, you are part Kansas-ian now :sunny:

I have never stayed at BC before but I have stayed at FF Mountain Vista. The 3 bedroom there did have a TV in every room. It was really nice and decorated very beautiful. I am going in June so I will take tons of pics for you and gather any information I can .
