We just got done with our Paperwork!

We just got done with our Paperwork and will be sending it back on Monday
We are super excited!! Our home resort will be Bay lake tower.. I have a question Our paperwork says our closing date will be July 26 Has anyone ever closed sooner then their closing date on the paperwork?

I had the same question and the answer is yes, you may very well close sooner. We actually just bought a resale at BLT and it took a total of 5 weeks. We were scheduled no later than July 6 and closed last Thursday the 17. We bought through TTS and financed through Timesharelending. Hope that helps!

First of all, welcome home "neighbor."

As to the closing, if DVC has your paperwork you will likely close sooner. The date is just an arbitrary date approximately a month from the date your paperwork is issued.

As other have mentioned, if you bought direct from Disney you will likely close sooner.

If you are looking to make a reservation, I suggest calling your guide and telling them what you are looking for. Guides can sometimes get reservations that others may not be able to. Suspicion is that it's easier for the guides to find rooms at AKV and BLT because Disney still owns a higher percentage of these rooms and the guides may use this inventory.

Our guide was able to work some magic when we joined last May/June. At that time, we asked for a split stay in early December for Kidani and BLT. Our guide found us a Kidani Savannah view and BLT Lake View.
